NUCLEAR EDUCATION

The Cook Energy Information Center (a.k.a. Visitors Center) at D.C. Cook Nuclear Power Plant in Bridgman, Michigan, opened its doors in the mid-1970s. Its purpose was to educate the public about nuclear power generation. Over the past 40+ years, we have hosted thousands of visitors and enjoyed every moment of it.

However, as the saying goes, all good things come to an end. It is with great sadness we report that the Visitors Center has been permanently closed and will no longer be open for school group or community organization tours.

As we say goodbye to an era, we thank everyone who took the time to visit us over the years to learn more about nuclear power generation.
